Trip to India 16 May to 22 May 2008
16-5-2008 We, a total of 20 (Minus See Kim Boon who opted out at 3.00am) flew Jet Airways from Kuala Lumpur to Chennai.
Arrived at Chennai local time 9.30am. Greeted by Kishore at Chennai Airport and started our 10 hours Van journey to Puttaparthi
Stopped at Hotel Narayana at Chittor for Lunch. Good and cheap Tali Lunch.
The 38 km stretch of ‘road’ before reaching Puttaparthi is a rocky, winding path tre-passing tiny little kampungs but we sang songs all the way.
Reached Prahsanti Nilayam at 8.05pm just in time for us to get keys to rooms, all together 10 rooms.
17-5-2008 First Morning Darshan. Managed to get quire front rows. Sitting quietly and in
meditative mood and Swami came out around 9.00am. The minute He came in, everyone experienced joy and bliss. His face was perfection and some how you know he has answered all our prayers and wishes.
Bro Lee from Alor Setar stood forward to deliver our “Kuala Lumpur Sai Baba Chinese Choir’ membership card from Interkultur Foundation to Swami.. Swami looked through the card and was puzzled as no explanation or clarification was offered to Him.
Nearly 8.00pm, I walked to N7 trying to collect keys for Tangkak Group but to no avail. Albert’s group arrived at 8.30pm and the officers have left, no keys and no rooms. Seva Dal insisted that they left our hostels. We lied saying that after the group had eaten and settled their belongings with us, they will leave. I was feeling very uncomfortable as I lied in the vicinity of Swami. I prayed to Swami, if what I have acted is right please let me have the front few roles in tomorrow’s Drashan lines.
18-5-2008 Know what? My line got the No.1 in drawing of token. Swami’s great. I am right in ‘harbouring’ our Tangkak’s brothers and sisters. We had very good darshan.
Later on, we learned from Bro Cheah T.B. that Swami has taken our letter of requesting for Swami’s permission to sing.
Cheah holds a whole stakes of letters on his left hand and a single letter on his right. Swami went past him and later Swami’s student walked back to collect the letter, only the single letter and not the stakes on his left hand.
The men were approached by Bro Amar Kharki our Regional Coordinator to ask us to see him for the Wesak Day Celebration
Bro Amar was very good, helpful, friendly and he arranged for the presentation seeking permission from Cakrawati.. At first, he said only 15 minutes is given to us. After listening to us he said sang all the songs you could.
19-5-2008 We had special seating but Swami did not come back for morning Darshan.
In the evening , we were all seated in the Mandir and Swami came out at 5.00pm. Wow, Swami went past so near us and then we started to sing. (A group of 19) We sang all 7 songs. Swami enjoyed so much, he was smiling, staring at us (scanning, some said), taping to the rythmn and after all 7 songs, he signalled asking for more, unfortunately, we have none to offer. Lao shi, went to sit down.
Bhajan commenced. After a few songs, he asked his students to go and get 3 big containers of mango, he blessed and the students placed the containers in front of us. The bhajan was still on. Then he signalled to us, asking us to take the mango and also to pass to the bhajan singers at our back. He really treated us like his little children.
Swami signalled the bhajan to stop, he started to ‘scan each one of us and he signalled Lao shi and I to go up the stage.
He asked Lao Shi “ What is your name?”
Lao Shi said “Stanley Cheong”
Swami asked “What do you want?”
Lao shi said :I donot know.”
Swami laughed and said “ Do you want Baba?”
Lao Shi said ‘yes” and he materialized a gold chain for him.
He signaled Lao Shi to do Padamaskar
Lao Shi came down, I walked up and he signalled me to do padamaskar
I kissed his Lotus feet and asked “Can my sister come along?”
Swami said ‘which one?”
I pointed to Sis Huan Bee and Swami said I will come down.
But later, he went into the room and when he came out, a monk started to light the
arathi and so the session ended.
20-5-2008 Went for morning darshan and there were a lot of Nepalis men and women. Feeling that we should be contended and giving chance to others to get near to Swami. I did not go for the evening bhajan.
21-5-2008 I did not go for Darshan and Swami left for Whitefield at 8.00am. Missed the road darshan. We left for Bangalore at 9.30am.
Visited Shirdi Sai’s temple, Krishna’s and Shiva temple.
Before arriving at Shiva temple (my 3rd visit), I was thinking in my heart, ai ya, I have got
nothing to do with Shiva. However, on reaching the temple and having his darshan,
I felt strong affection and as if he is showering all love and blessing on me. I
immediately identified with him wanting to be his good devotee which I had
never had the last 2 time. Thanks Shiva.
Arrived at the Hotel arranged by Albert, Cheah and Wong KB. Went shopping at MG Road.
22-5-2008 Another long journey to Chennai Airport. The lunch stop at Woody’s restraurant was good. Except the mad chasing of cars etc, the journey was fine (2 puncture experienced by Lee’s car and one by us). Reached airport safely and timely.
Hope to have another pilgrimage with Tangkak Group and I pray to Swami that we can visit Him at Kodaikanal and all my family members can come along too. We have to spell our wish first, isn’t it?

Belated Happy Mothers' Day to Me and All Mothers
Mothers come in diferent forms, shapes and they are all mothers;
Mothers may not be perfect; but they did attempt their best in raising up their childrens;
For good, for bad (unintentionally) mothers have done all they could to us;
We attempt to be good to our mothers and to mothers who have come to our life and ways;
In attempting to be good daughters, we too attempt to be good mothers,
And God knows it is not an easy task - both as a daughter and as a mother.
We do not know our destiny and we would leave it to god.
But more importantly, we are happy to be daughters and we are happy to be mothers.
And may God guide us and bless us in our roles as mothers and daughters.
Mothers may not be perfect; but they did attempt their best in raising up their childrens;

We attempt to be good to our mothers and to mothers who have come to our life and ways;

A Letter To Swami
Dear Swami,
We, a group of 21 from Kuala Lumpur and Alor Setar and 16 from Tangkak, Johor are going to India to see YOU. We will be travelling on the 16th but our Tangkak Brothers and sisters will join us in India a day later.
We know Swami has said 'celeberate Wesak in your respective country' but as we have already planned, we will continue to proceed to India to see YOU during Wesak times.(16 May 2008 - 22 May 2008).I hope our eagerness to sing for you is not construed as'defiant'. I know you have said there is nothing wrong to 'desire' for god. There is no ceiling on desire for god.
We are flying Jet Air and we are flying to Chennai or Madras as we are not sure where Swami will be. We know YOUR uncertainity but all we ask for is a safe and smooth journey to meet YOU. We will proceed from Chennai to either Puttapathi, Whitefield or Koddaikannal depending on where YOU would be. So, everything is in YOUR hand. We have surrenderred the TRIP to YOU.
We would also request that YOU would allow us to sing for YOU during our stay with YOU. As there are constraints of time, distance and costs, not all (37) have practised but we intend to sit in a group and sing our hearts out to YOU. Please grant our choir the opportunity and honour to sing for you. You have heard some of the songs but not all. I am sure you would like all the songs.
We will carry our digital piano to India with us and I hope you would be touched by our determination to sing to you and henceforth grant us the chance to sing for YOU.

探访麻疯病院
2008年2月17日雪州赛巴巴组织与思菩提赛颂赞(中文)小组探访双溪普儒麻
疯病院。现尚有百多名男女病黎住在那儿。
此次探访的目的，除了颁发
一些礼物、食品及红包外，最主要的是陪这些病黎欢度农历新年，并尽点绵力，奉献出我们的爱及关怀
，希望他/她们能感受到在这世上他/她们还没被遗弃。
团员们欢唱新年歌，并由临时凑合成的小乐队为我们伴奏。John Yong 赛兄拉二胡,金文、高弼赛兄则吹口琴,Bro. Teh Poo Seng 服责扛乐谱架。
虽然团员们并非专业的歌唱家及乐器演奏家 (其中有几位的音质蛮不错的，经已达到半专业水平),但我们是由心唱出，那种温馨的感觉散布整个病院。有好几位病黎随着我们的歌声，载歌载舞、融合一团。
黄永谚赛兄戴着大头笑脸佛向他/她们拜年,赢得他/她们灿烂的笑容。
有好几位病黎经已病入膏肓,不能自己吃东西。我们有几位团员，不怕污垢，无微不致的喂他/她们吃，充份显现出至尊巴巴所教导的博爱。

令人迷惑的 “爱”
记得我不想当老师时我是这样向BABA祈求的：“BABA，我好象这一辈子没有离开过学校；出了小学，进入中学；出了中学，入了大学；出了大学，又进入中学来教书。BABA，该是时候让我服务大人了吧？”
BABA果然让我如愿，我当律师的确是为大人办事；但BABA却跟我开了个大玩笑，我是酷爱和平的人，偏就安排我处理大人/夫妻之间的纠纷；家庭法律个案总是情理纠缠不清，恼人伤人的事件，往往都没有产生所谓的“双赢”局面，两败俱伤才是实在的写照！
BABA的教导都以“爱”为根基，将爱心扩大与普及，每个人都是爱的化身；但偏就许多人(包括我)都会偶尔觉得自己不被爱或被爱得太少太不够，在这种境况下，有人选择默默的忍受或唠叨一世，有人选择大发雷霆或控制他人，亦有人选择“下堂而去”。。。我绝对选择如何去学习沟通，表达爱，接受爱，感受爱及传送爱；我们很多时候也不会如何去处理负面情绪 (生气，不平衡，害怕，失望。。)，误以为“大事化小，小事化无”就可，其实不然，很多小事如未消解累积在心，其患无穷啊！
中国已故名作家丁玲在“莎菲女士的日记”内很强烈的道出他对 “爱”的迷惑；他说他似乎懂得点，不过终究还是不很说得清；他对”爱“感到迷糊，没有勇气鼓吹 “爱”，才不敢相信自己是一个纯粹够人爱的小女子；他同时怀疑世间人的所谓 “爱”，也不敢接受 “爱”；他自懂事以来，被爱他的人把他苦够了；他认为男女之间的爱更是无味的忌妒，自私的占有，这便是所谓 “爱”吗？日记中的女人就因为这茅盾而糟蹋了自己。。。。
我但愿有生之年在BABA的赞许加持下可以再次改行，不再为人打离婚官司，而是替人调解或辅导尚未破裂到没法补救的婚姻关系。。。。
啊！BABA可会说我人小心大，或则BABA也懒得理我这多事又善变的老女人！
还是去顾孙罢！

垂直之彩虹 VERTICALRAINBOW
于8-12-2007 与亲家在KL起飞前往美国，先在纽约作个8日美国东岸游，然后再飞往德州，准备帮忙大腹便便待产的女儿一生产就作陪月(女儿果然就在26-12-2007平安生下女婴)，迎接孙女的兴奋心境自然不在话下！
12-12-2007晚间在酒店就寝前我吩咐丈夫次日须多穿衣服，因为要观赏尼加拉瓜大瀑布那儿将会很寒冷；丈夫说如果届时可观看到垂直之彩虹不知有多好！我笑说你又不是BABA挚爱的信徒如 HOWARD MURPHET (出名奥洲作者有“彩虹人”之美誉)，BABA哪会给你看到如此异景？
13-12-2007早上抵达尼加拉瓜大瀑布时下着细雨点，突而太阳出来亮一亮相，眼前天空立马显挂一小节的垂直之彩虹，我惊叫！丈夫一脸得意，立刻快手快脚把此景拍下，几分钟而已天空又归回原状。。。我俩此时不得不感谢BABA对我们的恩宠，内心深深觉得BABA的确与我们同在，并听到我们夫妻俩的每一句交谈。
这个体验不由得让我忆起翠玉赛姊曾经与我们分享的一则故事：
话说一个赛信徒在缅甸时，将BABA所赐给他戴在手指的戒指一个不小心掉入缅甸的“奇他贡河/CHITAGGONG RIVER”里去；几年后当他回到印度去见BABA时，BABA再次变一戒指给他时，他看了觉得这戒指跟之前的没有两样，BABA方告诉他，当戒指掉入河时BABA当时就在河内把它拾起来呢！
BABA的无所不在，无所不知，无所不能，全然表露无遗，不可置疑，误以为是巧合啊！

圣蜜 。永生 (AMRITA - IMMORTALITY)
2000年间我在屋内错跨梯级不小心绊倒，折了脚骨，不能上楼，只好独自一人在客厅里睡。
晚上梦见一个体型高大健硕莽汉(略像满清时代人)向我扑来，只见他一甩他那一根粗辫，粗辫如大绳围绑我的颈子，他是有所意图想要捏死我。我慌了，欲喊又发不出声音来，眼看就要窒息而死，这时却在心里默默对莽汉重复应诺：“Baba 爱你，Baba 爱你。。。。”
说也奇怪，莽汉果然信服，松绑了我，不见踪影。
经这一奇怪的梦，我耿耿于怀，求教于风水师，他带一罗盘前来，一进我的大厅，罗盘一动不能动，他规劝我赶紧搬家为妙，还说是我的神明一直暗中保护我，方不丧命。
我听后也感觉有道理，自搬入屋以来，似乎对我不大顺利，病魔总缠着我，若不是BABA 三番四次赶入我的梦中来搭救我，恐怕我早已长眠黄土之下！
我在彷惶之际，午间小姑到访，我与他相议，他认为相士之言不可信，他离去前我欲上楼小睡，我对着 BABA 的照片向 BABA 默默祷告，希望他给我一个明示是否要搬屋。
小睡后我下楼来，咦！怎么大厅上挂着的 BABA 的照片，他的脸庞象似被人刮花了。趋前一看，咦！象似黏黏液体条条纹线；多位赛兄弟姊妹闻风而来视查，都认同那是AMRITA，即“蜜糖”，带有“吉祥”之意。。。我当时顿悟 BABA 促我搬屋。
2001 年我搬进斯里白沙罗，这么多年来，安居乐业，不在话下。
几天前 15-1-2008 在网络上读到一篇 HOWARD MURPHET 在 1977 年所写文章，“SKETCHES ON THE SAND” / (沙滩上的素描)， 他提到 BABA 在1977年与信徒们常在沙滩上集合。有一次在沙滩上，BABA 就沙地上分别画了碗 与汤匙；BABA接着自沙堆里先掏出一碗，再掏出一匙，后BABA就用匙搅着碗，碗内即发出香气；BABA向每一信徒喂食，每人得尝一香喷喷的蜜糖；作者初尝AMRITA，描绘其香甜味犹如集天堂所有的水果酿成的一级品！作者解释“AMRITA”的由来是出自“AMRITHI”；“A”意即“NOT/不是/非”，“MRITHI“意指”DEATH/死亡“，“非死亡”谓“永生”，凡永生之饮品叫“AMRITA/圣蜜”，象征神圣洁的爱~~
当我阅到这儿时，鼻头酸酸，内心极感恩，原来BABA待我何其丰厚，在赐给我圣蜜时不单是要我搬屋，而且还应诺了永生，接下来就只看我会不会把握和精进吧了！

1st Asian Choir Games
Bro and Sis Cheah Woon Kong - our pillars of support - our salute to you. Bro and Sis Albert Ong, Sis Xiang Lan and all , members of Choir, Teacher Stanley Cheong, your guidance, support, cooperation and enduring effort are appreciated to make our choir a success.
We have managed to advance ourselves into the international stage and allowing all to hear our praises for our Lord Sai Baba.

See Kim Boon from Seputih Bhajan Unit performed at JIEXPO Hall at Jakarta, Indonesia on 8.11.2007 in the grand 1st Asia Choir Games organised by Interkultur Foundation of Germany in collaboration with the Indonesian Ministry of Culture and Tourism, participated by 140 choir groups from 11 Asian countries during the duration from 1.11.2007 - 10.11.2007.
With Bro Stanley Cheong as the conductor the voices of 38 singing choir members of Kuala Lumpur Sai Baba Centre Choir sang beautifully in unison, in praise of the glory of Lord Sai Baba. The deep and dear devotion of the singing voices has won the Choir a Bronze Diploma and a Silver Diploma respectively for the Category 7 - Mixed Choir and Category 16- Music for the Religion and in addition thereto rounds of applause from the audience.
Again, the Choir sang at a Friendship Concert together with Choirs from the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia held in Dunia Fantasia, Jakarta on the 8th evening of November.
The entourage of Bro & Sis Cheah Woon Kwong, Bro & Sis Albert Ong and members from Tangkak added in the elements of brotherhood among Sai brothers and sisters which were greatly appreciated by the Seputih brothers and sisters.
With grace of Lord Baba the Choir hopes to further expand in greater heights their wings of love to far and near lands transmitting Baba's love and messages as flutes / instruements of Baba vide their golden voices.

The 1st Asian Choir Games Jakarta 2007 - the Asia Pacific Olympics for choirs – is the largest international event for amateur choirs in Asia and is going to be hosted in Jakarta, the capital of the Republic of Indonesia from November 2nd until November 10th, 2007. Thousands of participants from many nations will perform in the modern “JI Jakarta International Expo” Centre and will turn Jakarta into the centre of the Asia Pacific choir music for some days.
Organizer of the Asian Choir Games is INTERKULTUR Germany, the work of which has just been decorated with the “European Culture Award 2006”, in collaboration with the Indonesian Ministry of Culture and Tourism, with “Royalindo Convention International” of Jakarta and other authoritative institutions of the host country.
It began with the World Choir Games – the Olympics for Choirs – in Linz / Austria in 2000, followed by Busan / Rep. of Korea 2002, Bremen / Germany 2004, Xiamen / China 2006. The 5th edition INTERKULTUR will hold in Graz / Austria in 2008. As a further event series in this tradition – also biannually – the Asian Choir Games will account for the fact that Asian choir music is playing an increasing role in the international choral movement.
The 1st Asian Choir Games 2007 in Jakarta will be a great gathering of choirs from all parts of the Asian Pacific Area. In Jakarta choirs are competing in 21 different categories according to age, voicing and different music genres.
