SEPUTIH BHAJAN UNIT ACTIVITIES

We are happy to see that our choir is growing in size as well as in the song repertoires, the most recent songs besides 赛带给以喜悦, another re-arrangement by Teacher Stanley; we are singing “Kemegahan Negara Ku” and “Flying Free”.

The Choir is also ‘growing’ younger when we have a few young members (in their twenties) joining us. They are none other than Ah Lum (who also helped to conduct a Handicraft Class started on the 23/6/2007), Ang (who helped to play the piano while our Bride-to Be Lichia is busy preparing for the big day). We have Jock Yin and Nick who really brought youthfulness to the Choir.

Our Yoga Class is going stable under Sis Lay Guat. Quite a number of oldies can now bent their back and rolled their eyes. Applause to both trainees and trainer. I think, besides health, every participant is eyeing on our Sis Lay Guat’s slender figure, taking that as a target to achieve.

We have finished our first handiwork, the Multipurpose Box and now venturing into the second piece. Knitting of a hairy shawl class conducted by Ah Lum.. Do not be surprise when you see during the next few choir practices, ladies coming with shawls over their shoulders.

Adult English Classes are hits to the sisters. Sis Huan Bee’s class rose to over 40 – more than a usual government school class size. The sisters are gaining interest and confidence. You could see them speaking out words in English and saying them out loud and clear during class. Sis Bee Ling is the assistant teacher to the class.

The smaller class the intermediate class is under the charge of Sis Lum. Sis Stephanine and Sis Kim Lian will help Sis Lum out when she requires them..

It is every sister and brother’s hope and vision to see the Bhajan Unit filled with activities, filled with sisters and brothers and filled with love. SAI RAM
