We Are not The Best, but We are the Most Special.
Kuala Lumpur Sai Baba Chinese Choir of 44 participants under the leadership of Sr. Chuah Kim Lian and Bro. See Kim Boon from Seputih Bhajan Unit performed at JIEXPO Hall at Jakarta, Indonesia on 8.11.2007 in the grand 1st Asia Choir Games organised by Interkultur Foundation of Germany in collaboration with the Indonesian Ministry of Culture and Tourism, participated by 140 choir groups from 11 Asian countries during the duration from 1.11.2007 - 10.11.2007.
With Bro Stanley Cheong as the conductor the voices of 38 singing choir members of Kuala Lumpur Sai Baba Centre Choir sang beautifully in unison, in praise of the glory of Lord Sai Baba. The deep and dear devotion of the singing voices has won the Choir a Bronze Diploma and a Silver Diploma respectively for the Category 7 - Mixed Choir and Category 16- Music for the Religion and in addition thereto rounds of applause from the audience.
Again, the Choir sang at a Friendship Concert together with Choirs from the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia held in Dunia Fantasia, Jakarta on the 8th evening of November.
The entourage of Bro & Sis Cheah Woon Kwong, Bro & Sis Albert Ong and members from Tangkak added in the elements of brotherhood among Sai brothers and sisters which were greatly appreciated by the Seputih brothers and sisters.
With grace of Lord Baba the Choir hopes to further expand in greater heights their wings of love to far and near lands transmitting Baba's love and messages as flutes / instruements of Baba vide their golden voices.

Information On the First Asian Games
November 2–10, 2007
The 1st Asian Choir Games Jakarta 2007 - the Asia Pacific Olympics for choirs – is the largest international event for amateur choirs in Asia and is going to be hosted in Jakarta, the capital of the Republic of Indonesia from November 2nd until November 10th, 2007. Thousands of participants from many nations will perform in the modern “JI Jakarta International Expo” Centre and will turn Jakarta into the centre of the Asia Pacific choir music for some days.
Organizer of the Asian Choir Games is INTERKULTUR Germany, the work of which has just been decorated with the “European Culture Award 2006”, in collaboration with the Indonesian Ministry of Culture and Tourism, with “Royalindo Convention International” of Jakarta and other authoritative institutions of the host country.
It began with the World Choir Games – the Olympics for Choirs – in Linz / Austria in 2000, followed by Busan / Rep. of Korea 2002, Bremen / Germany 2004, Xiamen / China 2006. The 5th edition INTERKULTUR will hold in Graz / Austria in 2008. As a further event series in this tradition – also biannually – the Asian Choir Games will account for the fact that Asian choir music is playing an increasing role in the international choral movement.
The 1st Asian Choir Games 2007 in Jakarta will be a great gathering of choirs from all parts of the Asian Pacific Area. In Jakarta choirs are competing in 21 different categories according to age, voicing and different music genres.
